JUNE 2nd

A most successful Open Day to celebrate the signing of the new twenty one year lease was held on Sunday 2nd June. A working party were at the club early to erect the gazebo, hang bunting around the grounds, blow up balloons and set out tables and chairs for our pop up tea room.

It was a slow start to the day with a few customers arriving for elevenses and a slow start for the taster session. The afternoon proved to be very different with many arriving for the taster session and the cream teas proving to be very popular. Clive gave a small speech prior to us raising our glasses of Pimm’s in a toast to the club.

Many thanks to all of you who baked cakes, helped in many ways during the day and of course the big tidy up at the end.

Eleven members joined the Bowlers for their Hog Roast (pulled pork) where we were warmly welcomed. To sum up our day it was voted a great success
