Trains to London proved to be a problem on Monday 17th February for some members while for others their trains ran on time and were no trouble. Any way we all managed to be there for the start. The Apothecaries Hall is situated in Black Friars Lane and is the oldest surviving livery hall in the City of London. Janet P the archivist was our guide for the one and a half hour tour which included The Parlour, The Court Room and The Great Hall. These rooms were full of history which Janet presented to us with great knowledge. It was a thoroughly enjoyable one and a half hours and sorry when it ended.
